Sugar Jumbles

Ingredients

• Two cups sugar
• one cup butter
• two eggs
• five cups flour
• two heaping teaspoons Rumford baking powder
• one cup milk
• lemon flavoring

Method

1. 1

   Cream the butter and sugar; break in the eggs; sift in a little of the flour and a little of the milk; then more flour and milk, with the baking powder and flavoring, until it is all used.

   Roll out a quarter inch thick, sprinkle with sugar and bake in hot oven.
