Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

• 6 good-sized potatoes
• 4 pieces of butter
• sugar
• pulverized cinnamon
• 1 cup of milk

Method

   Boil potatoes in jackets.

   Slice in thin slices lengthwise.

   Take a dish, cover bottom with layer of potatoes.

4. 4

   On top place butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

   Then add another layer of potatoes and repeat until all potatoes are used.

   Dust below before putting in oven, add a cup of milk, being careful to pour in at the side as not to wash off cinnamon.
