Melt peanut butter and add to dry mixture. Add beaten eggs and milk; mix well. Bake in well greased muffin pans in moderate oven at 375° F. about 15 to 20 minutes. ' Makes 12. Cornmeal Griddle Cakes 34 cup yellow cornmeal 1 cup boiling water 1 tablespoon molasses or brown sugar 1 cup sour milk or buttermilk 2 eggs 11% cups flour 3 teaspoons Royal Baking Powder 1% teaspoons salt V4 teaspoon soda 3 tablespoons melted shortening Pour boiling water over cornmeal, stirring until mixture thickens; add mo- lasses, milk and whole eggs; beat thor- oughly; cool.
