White Cake No. 2

Ingredients

• Two cups sugar
• three cups flour
• one-half cup butter
• two teaspoonfuls Royal powder
• one-half cup milk
• whites of seven eggs
• one teaspoonful vanilla

Method

1. 1

   Cream butter and sugar, add part of milk and one cup flour, then the rest of milk, and one cup flour, then use the last cup of flour, and add the whites of eggs beaten very stiff, put in the vanilla then the baking powder without any flour.

   Bake in a slow oven for forty minutes.
