Washing Fluid

Ingredients

• two and one-half pounds of salsoda
• one-half pound borax
• one fourth pound rosin
• two ounces salts tartar
• one and a half ounce liquid ammonia
• one gallon of rain water
• four gallons of water

Method

1. 1

   Combine salsoda, borax, and rosin, pour on rain water, and boil until dissolved.

   Let cool, then add salts tartar and liquid ammonia.

   Stir well and add four gallons of water.

   Use one cup of fluid to one boiler of water.
