Vegetable Marrow Stuffed

Ingredients

• One Marrow
• Two ounces of cold Meat
• One ounce of Breadcrumbs
• One tablespoonful of chopped Parsley and Thyme
• Pepper
• Salt
• A little Stock or Milk

Method

   Peel marrow, cut in half lengthways, remove seeds; soak bread in stock or milk, mince meat, mix with soaked bread, parsley, and thyme; add pepper and salt, fill marrow halves with mixture, tie together.

   Steam and serve with melted butter, or bake with brown sauce for about an hour.
