Tomatoes a la Figaro

Ingredients

• Six or seven small tomatoes
• 1/2 pint mayonnaise sauce
• 1 bloater cooked
• 1/2 pint picked shrimps
• 2 chopped gherkins
• 1 tablespoonful anchovy essence
• a few drops of Tobasco sauce
• some parsley stalks

Method

   Wash and scoop the tomatoes at the stalk end.

   Mix mayonnaise with bloater, shrimps, anchovy essence, gherkins, and Tobasco.

   Fill tomatoes with this mixture and fix handles with parsley stalks.

   Dish on lettuce.
