Tomato Soup No. 2

Ingredients

• One pint of canned tomatoes
• or 4 raw ones, cut finely
• add 1 quart of water
• add 1 teaspoon of soda
• immediately add 1 pint of sweet milk
• with a little salt and butter

Method

   Cook tomatoes with water, add soda, then sweet milk, salt, and butter.
