Tomato Sauce for Meats or Steamed Rice 1 cup tomatoes 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons flour Y2 slice onion salt and pepper Y2 bay leaf Stew tomatoes, bay leaf and onion three minutes. Strain into a bowl. Then proceed as in white sauce, using tomato as moisture and serving it hot.
