Tea Cakes

Ingredients

• 4 eggs
• 216 c. sugar
• 1S es butter
• 1 t. baking powder—heaped
• I t. soda—level
• Flour to mix—about 1 qt.

Method

   Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating well.

   Add flour, baking powder, soda, and salt after sifting together.

   Use only part of flour for this because it may not take quite a quart.

   Roll and cut.

   Bake in oven heated as for biscuits at 450° for about 10-12 minutes.
