2 tbs. butter 2 tbs. cold water 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. lemon flavoring or 1 tbs. flour juice of % lemon 2 cups boiling water Rub sugar, flour and butter together with cold water. Add boiling water and cook 2 or 8 minutes. Remove from fire and add flavoring. —Mrs. Jos. T. Weaver.
