Sun Gold Cake

Ingredients

• 3 cups flour
• 1/8 t. salt
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 4 egg whites well beaten
• 3 t. baking powder
• 1 cup butter
• 4 egg yolks well beaten
• 1 t. vanilla

Method

   Mix all ingredients except egg whites.

   Then add well beaten egg whites.

   Use any kind of filling, cocoanut is best.

   Mix as any plain cake and bake in moderate oven until done.
