Strawberry Sherbet. Mash 1 qt. of ripe strawberries with 1 lb. of granulated sugar; add the juice of 1 lemon and 1 tablespoon ful of^ rose water. Let it stand for 2 hours, then strain through a cheese cloth ; add 1 pint of water
