Spinach with Cream

Ingredients

• Three table-spoonfuls of butter
• Two table-spoonfuls of flour
• One cupful of cream or milk

Method

   Heat the butter, add the flour, and stir until frothy.

   Add the chopped spinach and cook for four minutes, stirring constantly.

   Then add the cream, salt, and pepper, cook for three minutes, and serve on toasted bread.
