Singing Hinney

Ingredients

• Take i quart of flour
• sift 2 teaspoonfuls of Cameo baking powder into it
• rub in i tablespoonful of lard
• i teaspoonful of salt
• i well-beaten egg
• just enough sweet milk

Method

   Moisten with sweet milk to make into dough, not too stiff; roll out and bake on greased griddle; turn when cooked on one side and cook till pale brown; split, butter, and serve hot.
