Short-Bread

Ingredients

• Quarter of a pound of Flour
• Two and a half ounces of Butter
• One ounce of castor Sugar

Method

   Rub the butter into the flour, add the sugar, and mix well.

   Turn the paste onto a floured board, knead, roll out thinly, cut into oval shapes, and bake until pale brown.
