Scalloped Tomatoes

Ingredients

• a layer of bread crumps
• bits of butter
• a layer of sliced tomatoes
• Sprinkle with pepper
• and salt
• and a little sugar
• Sprinkle dried bread crumbs
• bits of butter over the top

Method

   Put in a baking dish a layer of bread crumbs with bits of butter and then a layer of sliced tomatoes.

   Alternate until the dish is full.

   Sprinkle dried bread crumbs and bits of butter over the top, and bake one hour.
