Savoury Meat Rolls

Ingredients

• Half pound of the remains of any kind of cold Meat
• One pound of mashed Potatoes
• Two whole Eggs
• About an ounce and a half of Flour
• A handful of crushed Vermicelli
• Pepper
• Salt
• A dessertspoonful of chopped Parsley
• A tablespoonful of melted Butter Sauce

Method

   Mince the meat, season with pepper, salt, and nutmeg, mix with sauce and parsley.

   Combine mashed potatoes with flour and beaten eggs, season, and stir over heat to form a stiff paste.

   Roll out, cut into pieces, fill with meat, wet edges, shape into rolls, brush with egg, sprinkle with vermicelli, and bake until light brown.
