Sardines in Pepper

Ingredients

• two boxes of sardines
• Boil hard three eggs
• six medium sized Irish potatoes
• one teacupful of sweet milk
• one teaspoonful of butter
• two raw eggs
• twelve sweet bell peppers

Method

   Open and separate the sardines from the bones.

   Boil and chop the eggs.

   Boil and cream the potatoes using sweet milk, butter, and raw eggs.

   Prepare the bell peppers by capping and removing seeds.

   Mix sardines, eggs, and potatoes, fill the peppers, fasten with toothpicks, place in a hot oven and cook for ten or fifteen minutes.

   Serve on a tea plate as an entree, garnishing with nasturtium leaves and flowers.
