Salmon Croquettes

Ingredients

• 1 tblsp. of butter
• 1 tblsp. flour
• % cup cold milk
• Vi tsp. salt
• dash of pepper
• a can of salmon
• a beaten egg
• enough cracker crumbs to shape into cakes

Method

   Melt butter over fire, add flour and mix well.

   Add cold milk slowly; stir until thick and smooth.

   Add salt and pepper, boil for 2 minutes.

   Let cool, then stir into salmon.

   Add beaten egg and enough cracker crumbs to shape into cakes, and fry.
