"Riz" Cake

Ingredients

• Three-quarters cup of butter creamed
• two and one-half cups of sugar
• three eggs
• one cup thick sour milk
• one-half cup sweet milk
• one-half teaspoonful soda dissolved in hot water
• three cups of flour
• one pound raisins
• one-quarter pound citron
• one-half nutmeg
• one large teaspoonful cinnamon

Method

   Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, then mix in sour milk and sweet milk.

   Add dissolved soda, flour, raisins, citron, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

   Let stand in bread pans for one hour in a warm place, then bake.
