Rissoles

Ingredients

• i lb. cold minced meat
• I lb. mashed potatoes
• I oz. butter
• I oz. flour
• pint weak stock or water
• Some bread-crumbs
• i egg
• Salt
• pepper

Method

   Mix the cold minced meat with mashed potatoes, butter, flour, weak stock or water, and season with salt and pepper.

   Shape into small cakes, coat with bread-crumbs, and fry until golden brown.
