Rice Cups

Ingredients

• Grind in a mill two teacups of rice
• boil three pints of new milk
• mix the ground rice with a teacup of cold water
• sweeten to your taste
• flavor with peach-water or vanilla

Method

   Mix ground rice with cold water, stir into boiling milk, cook until thick.

   Pour into cups or molds, cool, and serve with preserved fruit and thin boiled custard or cream.
