Potatoes in Wine

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 pinch pepper
• 1 onion, minced
• 3 cups diced uncooked potatoes
• 1 cup white wine
• 1 cup beef broth
• 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

   Heat butter in a saucepan and brown onion.

   Add wine and pepper, then potatoes and salt.

   Shake pan until potatoes are hot and well basted.

   Add broth, cover and cook until tender and all the liquid is absorbed.
