Pineapple Refrigerator Cake

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1.5 cups powdered sugar
• 0.5 cup walnut meats finely chopped
• 1 cup shredded pineapple
• 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
• 1 cup heavy cream whipped
• 3 dozen vanilla wafers

Method

   Cream together butter and sugar.

   Add nuts and pineapple, blend thoroughly.

   Fold in egg whites.

   Line a round, heat-resistant glass cake pan with vanilla wafers, cover with pineapple mixture, and repeat layers.

   Chill in refrigerator for at least 12 hours.

   Garnish with whipped cream.
