Pecan Slices

Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• 2 tablespoons flour
• lf cup butter
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 114 cups brown sugar
• lf cup grated coconut
• 1 cup pecans, chopped
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 114 cups confectioners’ sugar
• lemon juice

Method

   Cut the butter into the flour and blend to a smooth paste, spreading it in a greased 9 x 12-inch pan.

   Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

   Spread with a mixture of beaten eggs, brown sugar, coconut, nuts, flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla.

   Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.

   Cool and spread with confectioners’ sugar mixed with lemon juice.
