Pea Patties, Fried

Ingredients

• Cat ½ lb. of leg of veal very small
• with six oysters
• the crumb of a penny loaf
• ½ lb. of butter

Method

   Mix the liquor of the oysters with the crumb of the penny loaf and a little salt.

   Stir in a tossing-pan with butter over the fire.

   Make a good puff paste, roll it out, cut into bits, put meat on them, cover with a lid, and fry in hog’s lard.
