Orange Honey

Ingredients

• two eggs
• one-half pound of granulated sugar
• juice of two oranges and grated rind of one
• butter size of a walnut

Method

   Stir the eggs into the sugar, add juice of oranges and grated rind, and butter.

   Cook over a slow fire, stirring constantly, till thick and clear like honey; then pour into custard cups which have had cold water in them, and set in the ice-box to cool.

   Serve with cream custard.
