Orange Cake

Ingredients

• Two cups sugar
• one cup butter
• one cup sweet milk
• three cups flour
• five eggs
• three teaspoons baking powder
• two oranges

Method

   Cream the butter and sugar, add eggs, milk, flour, baking powder, and the grated peel and juice of oranges.

   Bake in four layers.

   For filling, beat egg whites, orange juice, and sugar, and spread between layers.
