Onion Sauce

Ingredients

• 2 white onions
• 1 pint of milk
• 1 tablespoon of butter
• 1 egg
• 1 tablespoon of flour

Method

   Boil 2 white onions until tender; mince fine; boil 0.5 pint of milk, add butter, the yolk of 1 egg, salt and pepper to taste, and stir in minced onion and 1 tablespoon of flour, which has been moistened with milk.
