Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients

• 3-4 cup butter
• 1-2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• 3-4 teaspoon soda
• 1 cup chopped raisins
• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups uncooked oats

Method

   Cream butter and sugar.

   Add well beaten eggs, soda, flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins and uncooked oats.

   This must be mixed and pressed into shape, not rolled.

   Cook in a very moderate oven.
