MUTTON AND RICE.— Mince into dice, pieces of cold mutton or lamb; add 1 cup of cold boiled rice to 1 cup of meat; butter the sauce=pan thoroughly, pour in a little water, add the mutton and rice, and stir until it is hot; then pour in 2 eggs slightly beaten, and stir until the eggs are cooked. Season with salt and pepper
