MOLASSES COOKIES No. 2. Beat together 1 cup molasses, 1 cup sugar and 1 egg\ add I cup of melted lard in which is 1 teaspoon of salt; add 1 teaspoon of soda dissolved in warm water, and 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, cloves and ginger; when all are mixed add 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and as much flour as can be mixed in.
