Milk and Water Bread

Ingredients

• •2 T. fat
• 1 T. sugar
• 11/2 t. salt
• 1 C. boiling water
• 1 C. scalded milk
• 1 yeast cake dissolved in
• 14 C. hike warm water
• 'j C. sifted flour, or enough to make a stiff dough.

Method

   Combine fat, sugar, salt, boiling water, and scalded milk.

   When lukewarm, add yeast dissolved in luke warm water and enough sifted flour to make a stiff dough.

   Knead until smooth and elastic.

   Place in a buttered bowl and follow the directions given under lightening and baking process.
