Malted Milk Custard

Ingredients

• Horlick's malted milk, 2 tablespoons.
• Egg yolks, 2.
• Hot water, 1 cup.
• Salt.

Method

   Mix the malted milk with enough hot water to make a smooth paste; add the remainder of the water, and pour it gradually onto the well-beaten yolks.

   Butter custard cups, pour in the mixture, and let it stand in a pan of boiling water in a moderate oven until the custard is set.
