Maccaroni with Milk

Ingredients

• 1 lb. of Maccaroni
• 1 quart of skimmed milk
• 2 oz. of cheese
• 1 oz. of butter
• Salt
• Pepper
• cayenne pepper

Method

1. 1

   Boil a saucepan of water, add maccaroni and salt, and boil gently for half an hour.

   Drain the water, add skimmed milk, bring to a boil, then simmer for one hour.

   Serve with sugar or treacle, or prepare maccaroni and cheese by adding grated cheese and baking.
