Macaroni

Ingredients

• half a pound of macaroni
• a good teaspoonful of salt
• some grated cheese
• enough cream or milk

Method

   Break macaroni into pieces and cook in boiling water with salt for about twenty minutes.

   Drain and layer in a buttered pudding dish with cheese and butter.

   Sprinkle with cracker crumbs and pour cream or milk over to moisten.

   Bake until browned.
