Love Cakes. — Beat up four eggs with a small tea-cupful of good yeast and half a pint of wai-m milk. Make a hollow in the centre of a pound and a half of flour, throw in the mixture, and stir aU together into a dough ; beat this dough, and put to it by degrees a K LOZ (092) MAC pound of 'butter, and when thoroughly kneaded let it stand an horn- to rise, then mix •with it half a pound of sifted sugar
