Led Kuchen

Ingredients

• Two pounds honey
• one pound almonds
• one pound sugar
• one lemon
• one-quarter spoon soda
• cloves
• cinnamon
• candied orange peel
• wineglass of wine

Method

1. 1

   Boil honey, blanch and chop nuts, cut fine the peel and citron.

   Pour the boiling honey over the other ingredients; add flour to stiffen.

   Let stand from four to eight days before baking.

   Roll thin and bake in large pans.

   While warm, cover with boiled frosting and cut into squares.
