Halibut or Sword Fish Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 lbs. of sliced fish
• about 1/2 cup water
• 1 inch thick tablespoon of butter
• 1 teaspoon flour
• 1/2 cup chopped salt pork
• breadcrumbs, browned
• 1 carrot, chopped in butter
• 1 green pepper, chopped

Method

   Fry onion, carrot, and pepper in salt pork.

   Spread mixture on fish, cover with breadcrumbs, bake with water for about 30 minutes, and thicken juices with flour and butter.
