Grilled Steak on Gas Stove

Ingredients

• 1 lb. pope’s eye Steak
• good teaspoonful Butter
• bit of suet fat

Method

1. 1

   Place gridiron on top of grill to get hot.

2. 2

   Rub over heated gridiron with bit of suet fat to make steak slip off easily.

   Melt butter on plate and dip steak well into melted butter on both sides.

4. 4

   Hold it over a good fire for 8 minutes, giving 1 minute to each side.

   Ready when a nice brown colour, and no red at sides.

   Serve with potato chips and tomatoes.
