Garfield Cookies

Ingredients

• one cup of butter
• one cup of sugar
• one-third of a cup of sour milk
• two eggs
• one teaspoonful of soda
• one-half of a nutmeg grated
• flour enough to roll the cookies soft and thin

Method

   Cream butter and sugar, add milk, then eggs.

   Beat in dissolved soda and nutmeg, then add flour.

   Roll thin, cut shapes, and bake in a quick oven.
