FRUIT CREAM PIE

Ingredients

• 3 beaten egg yolks
• 2 tablespoons Jelke GOOD LUCK
• 1%, cup powdered sugar
• 2 tablespoons flour
• 2 cups scalded milk
• Y% teaspoon salt

Method

   Combine egg yolks, sugar and flour.

   Scald milk and add to above and cook until thick; add GOOD LUCK and vanilla.

   Pour over fresh or canned fruit, preferably berries.

   Beat 3 egg whites till stiff, add 0.5 cup sugar, beat again, and spread on top of custard filling which has been placed in a baked pie shell.

   Brown meringue 15 minutes in 300°F. oven.
