Frizzled Beef

Ingredients

• about one-third of a pound of dried beef
• six eggs
• a quarter of a cupful of milk
• two table-spoonfuls of butter

Method

   Cut the dried beef into thin slices.

   Beat the eggs with milk and season with salt and pepper.

   Melt butter in a frying-pan, add the beef, and stir until it curls.

   Reduce heat, add the egg mixture, and stir until the egg thickens.

   Serve warm.
