Foundation Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 2 t. vanilla
• 3 eggs, beaten
• ites salt
• 2 cups white sugar
• 6 T, milk
• 5% cups cake flour
• 3 t. baking powder

Method

   Cream butter, add sugar gradually and cream.

   Add milk and vanilla to beaten eggs.

   Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together.

   Add dry ingredients alternately with the liquid ingredients to the creamed butter and sugar.

   Chill.

   Cut, sprinkle with sugar, and bake in a moderately hot oven.
