Fish Patties

Ingredients

• 1 Small Bream
• 1 oz. Butter
• 1 oz. Flour
• 1 teaspoonful Anchovy Sauce
• 1 gill Milk
• Pepper, Salt, and Lemon Juice
• Flaky Pastry

Method

   Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour and stir until smooth.

   Gradually add the milk, stirring until thickened.

   Add the fish, anchovy sauce, and seasonings.

   Allow to cool.

   Roll out the pastry, cut into rounds, fill with the mixture, and cover with another round.

   Bake until golden.
