Dutch Herring Salad

Ingredients

• 3 salted herrings
• I large Spanish onion
• A tablespoonful of chopped parsley
• I hard-boiled egg

Method

   Soak herrings in cold water overnight, boil for five minutes, and separate from bones.

   Slice onion, pour boiling water and salt over it, drain, and mix with fish and onion using salad oil, pepper, and vinegar.

   Garnish with parsley and hard-boiled eggs.
