Curried Oysters

Ingredients

• 2 or 3 doz. oysters
• 1 large onion
• Tablespoonful chutney
• curry powder
• 9 cloves
• 1 piece ginger
• 1 apple
• Butter

Method

1. 1

   Slice the onion thinly, cook in a saucepan with butter.

   Add ginger, cloves, apple, and lemon rind, chopped finely.

   When cooked, add curry powder and oyster liquor.

4. 4

   If not enough, add milk and coconut.

5. 5

   Just before serving, add oysters.
