Codfish à la Mode

Ingredients

• one teacup of salt codfish picked up fine
• two teacups of mashed potatoes
• one pint of cream or milk
• two eggs well beaten
• a half cup of butter
• salt and pepper to taste

Method

   Mix salt codfish, mashed potatoes, and cream or milk.

   Add beaten eggs, butter, salt, and pepper.

   Put in a baking dish and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
