Cocoanut Pie

Ingredients

• one-half cup of cocoanut
• a pint of milk
• a quarter of a cup of sugar
• two well-beaten eggs

Method

1. 1

   Steep the cocoanut in milk for half an hour.

   Strain out the cocoanut and add enough fresh milk to make a pint.

   Allow it to cool, then add sugar and eggs.

   Bake with an under crust only.

   Optionally, cover with meringue when done.
